Outworld Destroyer
[wiki] rating: 2.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 13%)Skywrath Mage
[wiki] rating: 2.0 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 6%)Terrorblade
* Arcane Bolt can target Terrorblade's low health pool in the laning phase.
* Ancient Seal can prevent Terrorblade from casting sunder.
Morphling
* Arcane Bolt's low cooldown allows him to deal consistent damage to Morphling, and is a viable way to disable Linken's Sphere.
* Ancient Seal prevents Morphling from using any of his skills, giving Skywrath Mage and his team ample time to burst Morphling down.
* Mystic Flare coupled with a stun/root can easily burst Morphling down, especially if he has more stats shifted to Agility.
* Alternatively, Morphling can use Morph to use Skywrath Mage's own silence and nukes against him.
Void Spirit
[wiki] rating: 2.0 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 13%)Terrorblade
* Void Spirit's high mobility becomes a nuisance to Terrorblade.
* Void Spirit's arsenal of magic damage is effective against Terrorblade's low strength.
* Terrorblade has no disables to prevent Void Spirit from escaping.
Morphling
* Void Spirit can greatly pressure Morphling's farm, which is very bad for a hero who needs a large amount of space.
* Waveform does not provide better mobility than Astral Step.
* If Morphling shifted all of his strength to agility, he can be bursted down by Void Spirit before he can react.
* Doing an Ethereal Blade combo on Void Spirit is incredibly difficult, as Dissimilate and Astral Step can allow him to escape or dodge the projectile.
Elder Titan
[wiki] rating: 2.0 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 1%)Morphling
* Most of Morphling's armor comes from his high agility and it is reduced by Natural Order.
* However, the aura has only 350 range and Elder Titan can be bursted down by Morphling's nuke combo if he isn't careful.
Additional:
* Morphling's high armor is primarily from Morphing agility, which is reduced by Natural Order therefore making the hero very vulnerable when it has morphed a lot into agility.
* Morphling usually will Morph into high agility and low strength. This can be taken advantage of with a good stun or silence or by bursting him down before he has the time to Morph back to strength.
* Morphling is very vulnerable to Blade Mail under Natural Order and can easily burst himself down with his own auto-attacks or his magical damage combo.
Terrorblade
* Terrorblade has a high base armor, and relies on many ultimate orb-based items (Manta Style and
Eye of Skadi). Natural Order affects armor gained from agility, essentially reducing armor to zero if all armor is gained from agility. That effect combined with Terrorblade's low health can make a Elder Titan with an early value point in Natural Order a dangerous foe.
* Terrorblade's illusions are often grouped up in teamfight, making them more vulnerable to Echo Stomp.
Additional:
* Echo Stomp and
Astral Spirit allow the enemy team to coordinate a kill on Terrorblade before he can Sunder.
* Natural Order cripples Terrorblade's armor that he crucially needs to survive due to his low strength gain.
Earth Spirit
[wiki] rating: 2.0 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 10%)Terrorblade
* Rolling Boulder and
Geomagnetic Grip prevent Terrorblade from using Sunder.
Morphling
* Geomagnetic Grip is not blocked by
Linken's Sphere and can silence Morphling, preventing Morphling from using Waveform or Attribute Shift to escape from ganks.
* In addition, Boulder Smash and
Rolling Boulder provide a solid lockdown if used together.
Axe
[wiki] rating: 2.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 8%)Terrorblade
* Terrorblade's low base health and lack of mobility make him an easy target for Axe to initiate on, and kill.
* Counter Helix will trigger from, and destroy many of Terrorblade illusions.
Additional:
* Berserker's Call and
Counter Helix together can be devastating to Terrorblade, especially if Terrorblade has a lot of illusions. Their high attack speed will trigger Counter Helix a lot, and the pure damage will quickly slice through Terrorblade's low health and kill his illusions.
* Culling Blade finishes off Terrorblade before he has the chance to Sunder due to his low health in the early to mid game.
Morphling
* Jumping on Axe from Waveform he will be an easy target for a counter-initiation with Berserker's Call.
* Morphling is often played at low health to maximize the bonuses from Attribute Shift (Agility Gain), and also because his abilities cost health to use. This makes him especially vulnerable to Culling Blade.
* However, Morphling is common Linken's Sphere carrier to block Culling Blade forces Axe to use Battle Hunger to pop the Spell Block first.
* Attribute Shift (Agility Gain) gives Morphlig no protection against the pure damage of Culling Blade. Its attack speed bonus also means that Counter Helix will proc more often.
Puck
[wiki] rating: 1.6 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 17%)Terrorblade
* All of Puck's damaging spells deal AoE magic damage, which focuses on Terrorblade's low health pool and ignores his armor.
* Puck's spells are also great at quickly clearing all of Terrorblade's illusions. Even a single Illusory Orb is enough to drop their health very low, allowing creeps, towers or allies to finish them off very quickly. Waning Rift and Illusory Orb together are usually enough to clear his illusions.
* Waning Rift prevents Terrorblade from casting Sunder at low health.
* Puck is a common Dagon carrier, so he is able to finish of Terrorblade before he has a chance to
Sunder.
Morphling
* Heroes with silencing abilities that are not blocked by Linken's Sphere, like Puck's
Waning Rift,
Death Prophet's
Silence or
Silencer's
Global Silence.
Lion
[wiki] rating: 1.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 17%)Morphling
* Mana Drain rapidly saps Morphling's already low mana pool, making him unable to use Waveform or Adaptive Strike. Additionally,
Hex prevents these abilities as well.
* An Earth Spike and
Finger of Death combo can burst an unwary Morphling down if he has his strength fully shifted to agility.
Terrorblade
* One of Lion's level 20 talents lets Mana Drain affect 2 secondary targets. This can make things difficult for heroes like Phantom Lancer,
Chaos Knight, and
Terrorblade who rely on illusion armies.
* Mana Drain and Hex instantly kill any illusions. Finger of Death upgraded with Aghanim's Scepter also shreds most illusions.
* One of Lion's level 20 talents lets Mana Drain affect 2 secondary targets. This can make things difficult for heroes like Phantom Lancer,
Chaos Knight, and
Terrorblade who rely on illusion armies.
Necrophos
[wiki] rating: 1.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 3%)Terrorblade
* Reaper's Scythe can kill Terrorblade quickly before he has chance to use Sunder.
* Ghost Shroud protects Necrophos against Terrorblade's high attack damage.
Morphling
* Necrophos's
Reaper's Scythe can finish off a low-health Morphling.
Faceless Void
[wiki] rating: 1.6 (winrate: 41% pickrate: 3%)Terrorblade
* Frail heroes who lack mobility can also be an easy target to lock down with Chronosphere, such as Drow Ranger,
Luna,
Sniper,
Terrorblade.
Morphling
* Time Dilation affects Morphling's low cooldown spells, making them unusable for a long time, rendering Morphling nearly useless.
* Morphling cannot use Attribute Shift while he is inside Chronosphere which makes it easy to kill him.
Arc Warden
[wiki] rating: 1.4 (winrate: 54% pickrate: 4%)Terrorblade
* Arc Warden’s Magnetic Field allows him to defend against Terrorblade if he used Metamorphosis.
* Arc also buys a Bloodthorn or a
Scythe of Vyse, which can prevent Terrorblade from using his abilities.
Morphling
* Arc Warden can counter Morphling's strong pushing capabilities by using Magnetic Field to protect buildings.
* Arc Warden also often builds an Orchid Malevolence or
Bloodthorn, which can prove dangerous for Morphling.
* Arc Warden can easily break Linken's Sphere with
Flux and then slow him with
Spark Wraith, making Arc Warden's
Tempest Double a legitimate threat as well.
Morphling
* Slark,
Lifestealer,
Morphling and such with a good escape mechanism are a nuisance to deal with in the early-game.
Troll Warlord
[wiki] rating: 1.2 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 12%)Terrorblade
* Heroes that rely on right-clicks will find that their attacks will miss a lot, due to Whirling Axes (Melee)'s miss chance. Such heroes include Phantom Assassin,
Terrorblade, and
Morphling.

Terrorblade, and
Morphling.
Winter Wyvern
[wiki] rating: 1.2 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 7%)Terrorblade
* Terrorblade and his illusions deal huge damage, which might used against him and his team with Winter's Curse.
Morphling
* Winter Wyvern's
Winter's Curse turns Morphling's high attack damage and attack speed against his targeted teammate.
Lina
[wiki] rating: 1.2 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 9%)Terrorblade
* Heroes with low health or rely on evasion can easily be bursted down, like Phantom Assassin or
Terrorblade.
Additional:
* Laguna Blade is one of the best tools to kill Terrorblade before he can use Sunder due to its high magical (pure with
Aghanim's Scepter) burst damage.
* Dragon Slave allows Lina to clear Terrorblade's illusions from Conjure Image and
Manta Style.
Morphling
* Heroes with high damage output who can burst down Morphling before he has time to use Attribute Shift (Strength Gain), like Lina and
Lion.
Additional:
* Light Strike Array catches Morphling while he jumps in from Waveform and also prevents Morphling from using his abilities.
* Laguna Blade can kill Morphling quickly before he shifts into Attribute Shift (Strength Gain).
Hoodwink
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 15%)Morphling
* Sharpshooter can kill easy when Morphling is going on full agility strategy (Only in early and mid game).
* Scurry can help to catch up Morphling when using
Waveform or for escape.
Ursa
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 16%)Terrorblade
* Ursa deals lots of damage during the laning phase before Terrorblade has Sunder available.
* Enrage's damage reduction helps Ursa survive after Terrorblade has used Sunder.
Mirana
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 16%)Morphling
* Sacred Arrow's long stun duration can prevent Morphling from casting his Waveform or Morph Replicate, making him unable to escape and easier to gank.
* Moonlight Shadow also allows Mirana's team to surprise Morphling while he tries to push towers.
* Mirana usually buys Linken's Sphere to protect herself from single-target abilities, making Morphling's Adaptive Strike and
Ethereal Blade harder to use on her.
* However, Mirana also provides a chance to become a good Morph target, allowing Morph to use Leap to run away, if necessary.
Dark Seer
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 3%)Terrorblade
* Dark Seer's Vacuum and
Ion Shell allows him to clear a wave of Terrorblade's illusions.
* Wall of Replica can create stronger illusions of Terrorblade.
* If Dark Seer can use Vacuum to help teammates land their AoE skills, Terrorblade will be quickly killed before he even gets a chance to use Sunder.
Additional:
* Dark Seer's Vacuum and
Ion Shell allows him to clear the wave of Terrorblade's illusions.
* Wall of Replica can create stronger illusions of Terrorblade.
* If Dark Seer can use Vacuum to help teammates land their AoE skills, Terrorblade will be quickly killed before he even gets a chance to use
Sunder.
Storm Spirit
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 12%)Terrorblade
* Terrorblade has low mobility, which makes it easy for Storm Spirit to kite him.
* Terrorblade gains a lot of agility and gains very low strength, which makes it easy to burst him down with Storm's magical damage.
* All of Terrorblade's abilities are easily avoided by Storm Spirit as he can simply use Ball Lightning, wasting the duration of Metamorphosis,
Conjure Image, and
Reflection.
* However, if Storm Spirit's Orchid Malevolence is on cooldown or if he doesn't have it, Terrorblade can easily use
Sunder and kill a careless Storm Spirit.
Additional:
* Storm Spirit heavy magic damage bypass Terroblade high armor.
* Ball Lightning can either use to initiates Terroblade from distance or kite Terroblade from using Sunder as he has no source of disable to deal with Storm Spirit.
Timbersaw
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 8%)Terrorblade
* Timbersaw can take down Terrorblade's illusions with his area damage burst.
* Reactive Armor plus another armor item reduce much of Terrorblade's damage.
Additional:
* Timbersaw's spell combos all deal magical and pure damage, completely ignoring Terrorblade's high base armor and clearing his illusions very quickly due to the AoE damage.
* Reactive Armor negates most of Terrorblade's damage against Timbersaw, and its high health regeneration and armor bonuses can help Timbersaw survive after being Sundered.
Dazzle
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 5%)Terrorblade
* Shallow Grave saves an ally whom Terrorblade has used Sunder on.
Mars
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 16%)Terrorblade
* Bulwark negates most of the physical damage from Terrorblade and his illusions.
* Mars' AoE abilities kill Terrorblade's illusions quickly.
Legion Commander
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 11%)Terrorblade
* Duel's long duration prevents Terrorblade from swapping his health with Sunder.
* Overwhelming Odds deals high damage to Terrorblade's illusions.
Ember Spirit
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 9%)Terrorblade
* Ember Spirit can deal devastating damage to illusion heroes like Terrorblade with Sleight of Fist. Terrorblade also has no way of preventing Ember Spirit from getting Activate Fire Remnant off. Additionally, Ember Spirit's ability to fight from long range as well as his wide skill set won't give many opportunities for Terrorblade to get Sunder off.
Additional:
* Ember Spirit can deal devastating damage to Terrorblade and his illusions with Sleight of Fist.
* Terrorblade has no disable to lock down Ember Spirit and prevent him from escaping with Fire Remnant. In addition, he doesn't like purchasing disabling items, which are the only solutions to deal with Ember Spirit.
Rubick
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 16%)Morphling
* Rubick's ability to steal Attribute Shift (Strength Gain) makes him extremely annoying to deal with because Rubick's shifted attributes will remain even if he steals a new spell.
* If Rubick moves enough points to strength and then steals Adaptive Strike, he will have a powerful 3-second ranged stun in his arsenal as well.
* Waveform provides a reliable nuke/escape to Rubick.
* Rubick can steal most abilities Morphling uses while Morphed, allowing Rubick to steal his own allies' abilities if the Morphling is not careful.
Additional:
* Morphling's abilities can cause unique interactions on their own:
* Waveform is a damaging pseudo-blink, giving Rubick much needed mobility.
* Attribute Shift (Strength Gain) is a great ability for Rubick:
* The changes done by it are permanent even after losing the ability. Pumping all the agility into strength makes him much tankier. The armor loss due to reduced agility can be mitigated by cheap items like Medallion of Courage or
Solar Crest.
* The extra strength allows Rubick to survive Morphling's Ethereal Blade -
Adaptive Strike (Agility) combo.
* Beware when using Attribute Shift (Agility Gain)! Unlike Morphling, Rubick does not gain damage from it, since agility is not his primary attribute.
* Adaptive Strike (Strength) is a long-ranged stun.
* The true power of this ability is revealed when Attribute Shift (Strength Gain) has been stolen previously: it gives a 4 second ranged stun every 10 seconds, which greatly counters heroes with mobility, such as Morphling himself.
* All of Rubick's abilities break Linken's Sphere, a core item for Morphling.
Meepo
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 45% pickrate: 1%)Morphling
* Earthbind disables Waveform, effectively keeping Morphling in place for an extended period of time, allowing Meepo to deal considerable damage with
Poof.

Chaos Knight,
Nature's Prophet,
Phantom Lancer,
Terrorblade
Additional:
* Nightmare can easily cleared by Terrorblade's spammable illusions.
* Almost all of Bane's damage revolves exclusively around single-target effects. Terrorblade can almost always get a Sunder off.
Broodmother
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 53% pickrate: 2%)Terrorblade
* Broodmother's
Insatiable Hunger and
Troll Warlord's
Battle Trance can nullify Sunder.
Pugna
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 53% pickrate: 4%)Terrorblade
* Since Life drain takes out illusions instantly, Pugna with a scepter is decent versus plenty of illusion heroes, most notably Naga Siren and
Terrorblade and the aforementioned
Chaos Knight.
Phantom Lancer is an exception.
Abaddon
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 5%)Terrorblade
* Heroes who can negate effects of Sunder: Abaddon,

* Underlord's
Atrophy Aura reduces Morphling's high base damage gained through agility shift.
Sand King

* Because of his massive AoE damage, Sand King is very effective against illusion heroes: Chaos Knight,
Phantom Lancer,

[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 8%)Terrorblade
* Heroes with mediocre health pools who rely on armor or evasion to survive fights such as Troll Warlord,
Windranger, and
Terrorblade can be killed by Zeus if caught off guard.
Additional:

* Static Field automatically hits everything in a big radius, taking a huge chunk of health out of Terrorblade's illusions, regardless of how much health they have.
Enchantress
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 1%)Terrorblade
* Heroes that can dominate his illusions or create their own illusions of him: Dark Seer,

Terrorblade
Naga siren
Nature's Prophet and
Anti-Mage
Tinker
[wiki] rating: 0.4 (winrate: 54% pickrate: 12%)Terrorblade
* Tinker can single-handedly stop Terrorblade's early-push and quickly clear his illusions with Laser (especially with Aghanim's Scepter) and March of Machines.
* Tinker has perfect tools to reveal Terrorblade from his illusions as well as to burst him down if he is low-health before he will be able Sunder.
Additional:
* An Aghanim's Scepter upgraded
Laser allows Tinker to blind Terrorblade and illusions.
* Tinker can also clear Terrorblade's illusions and stall his pushing attempts with March of the Machines .
Terrorblade
* Illusion heroes, such as Naga Siren,
Phantom Lancer,
Chaos Knight,
Terrorblade will become strong against Tinker in the late game when Tinker's only area of effect damage, March of the Machines, ceases to kill illusions quickly. Without
Aghanim's Scepter Tinker is forced to defensively disarm heroes with Laser, leaving illusions free to deal physical damage which Tinker's low armor makes highly effective. In addition,
Mjollnir or
Battle Fury, two common pickups against illusion heroes, don't work well on Tinker at all.
Gyrocopter
[wiki] rating: 0.4 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 5%)Terrorblade
* Flak Cannon destroys Terrorblade's illusions very quickly.
Morphling
* Heroes with high mobility will be able to avoid Gyrocopter's area attacks: Storm Spirit,
Morphling,
Ember Spirit
Techies
[wiki] rating: 0.4 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 8%)Morphling
* Morphling usually has low max health due to shifting strength into agility, making him an easy target to blow up.
Terrorblade
* Heroes with summons like Broodmother,
Enigma,
Invoker,
Nature's Prophet,
Lycan,
Visage;or illusions, like
Naga Siren,
Phantom Lancer,
Terrorblade are effective at keeping the choke points and rune spawns safe from Proximity mines in the early game.
Additional:
* Techies' mines can be destroyed by Terrorblade's spammable illusions.
* Terrorblade can push without the fear of dying to mines; he can instead use his illusions to push.
Grimstroke
[wiki] rating: 0.4 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 12%)Terrorblade
* Terrorblade's lack of escape mechanisms makes it hard for him to escape both Ink Swell and Stroke of Fate.
* Phantom's Embrace's silence will also prevent him from casting Sunder to save himself.
Morphling
* Heroes with mobility spells can quickly escape from Stroke of Fate or break out of Soulbind: Anti-Mage,
Queen of Pain,
Morphling,
Storm Spirit
Witch Doctor
[wiki] rating: -2.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 13%)Morphling
* Morphling can Attribute Shift to strength after being hit by Maledict. Since Maledict deals its damage based on the difference between HP on cast and HP after two seconds, odds are Morphling will have more HP than when Maledict was cast, thus resulting in no damage.
* On the upside, players prone to panicked reactions may Morph to agility, making Maledict even more efficient than intended.
* Adaptive Strike (Strength) can interrupt Death Ward at a decent range.
Terrorblade
* Witch Doctor's Maledict burst damage can be prevented by Sunder, if timed correctly.
* Death Ward deals physical damage, and Terrorblade's high armor can help him survive against Death Ward.
* However, be careful that Paralyzing Cask is commonly tricky to dodge as Terrorblade, due to his reliance of illusions, and
Maledict can kill Terrorblade if he has no target to be Sundered with, especially in the early game.
Lifestealer
[wiki] rating: -2.0 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 5%)Morphling
* Lifestealer is a great target for Morphling to use Morph, as he can use Rage to gain spell immunity and a movement speed boost.
* Morphling's high armor also makes Lifestealer's attacks do less damage.
Terrorblade
* Terrorblade's illusions and ranged attacks in Metamorphosis can burst down Lifestealer very quickly.
* Terrorblade has low health due to his low strength gain, which reduces Feast's lifesteal and damage.
* Terrorblade's high armor makes Lifestealer's Desolator useless.
* Because Lifestealer usually walks around with high HP in fights due to his lifesteal (and sometimes Armlet of Mordiggian), he is a great target for Terrorblade's
Sunder.
Additional:
* Reflection's illusion carries Feast as well, making it useful in fights.
* Feast cannot compensate for Terrorblade's incoming high damage, due to his low Strength gain.
* Open Wounds is a lot harder to land on the real Terrorblade if he has illusions around him.
* Lifestealer relies on right-clicks to deal damage, and Terrorblade's high armor can reduce his damage by quite a bit.
Sniper
[wiki] rating: -2.0 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 6%)Terrorblade
* Sunder can save himself or his allies from Assassinate.
* Sniper relies on right-clicks to deal damage, and Terrorblade's high armor can reduce his damage by quite a bit.
* Terrorblade is a far harder carry than Sniper is, so a well-farmed Terrorblade can easily defeat a Sniper.
Morphling
* Morphling's high mobility allows him to easily get close to Sniper, who likes to keep his distance from enemies.
* Sniper's low health also makes him extremely vulnerable to Morphling's Ethereal Blade and Adaptive Strike combo.
Clockwerk
[wiki] rating: -2.0 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 7%)Morphling
* Waveform allows Morphling to easily escape Power Cogs.
* Clockwerk's lack of burst damage makes it nearly impossible for him to kill a Morphling using Attribute Shift (Strength Gain).
Additional:
* Morphling can escape from Power Cogs with Waveform.
* Even if Morphling is trapped in Power Cogs, Morphling can use Attribute Shift (Strength Gain) to survive the duration.
* However, Morphling should be wary of using his Ethereal Blade combo on a Clockwerk with
Blade Mail.
Terrorblade
* Conjure Image and
Reflection illusions may give Clockwerk a hard time to find an angle for Hookshot.
* A trapped Terrorblade can turn the tables with Sunder, leaving Clockwerk nowhere to run.
Phantom Assassin
[wiki] rating: -1.6 (winrate: 45% pickrate: 16%)Terrorblade
* Terrorblade is one of the strongest carries in the late game, due to his resilience against physical damage, which can be a problem for almost every strong burst physical damage carries, such as Phantom Assassin and
Templar Assassin.
Morphling
* Morphling's naturally high armor thanks to his high agility makes it hard for Phantom Assassin to take him down with Coup de Grace.
* Phantom Assassin is vulnerable to magical damage, falling easily to Adaptive Strike + Ethereal Blade combo.
Additional:
* Morphling's high armor serves as a direct counter to Phantom Assassin, causing her attacks to do far less damage. She is also very vulnerable to burst damage, and can be brought down quickly using his Ethereal Blade and
Adaptive Strike combo.
Doom
[wiki] rating: -1.2 (winrate: 44% pickrate: 2%)Terrorblade
* Terrorblade can use
Sunder to save his allies who are Doomed.
Morphling

Medusa.
Lone Druid
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 1%)Morphling
* Morphling can ignore Spirit Bear and shorten the distance to Lone Druid with Waveform.
* Morphling can use his nukes to burst Lone Druid down, provided he is not rooted/disabled by Spirit Bear beforehand.
Shadow Fiend
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 18%)Terrorblade
* The Reflection of Shadow Fiend cause Presence of the Dark Lord to affect Shadow Fiend, reducing his armor and making it easier for Terrorblade to kill him. Shadow Fiend also doesn't have lots of survivability or control skills in order to escape.
* If Shadow Fiend chooses to go for a right-click build, he'll have a hard time against Terrorblade's high armor.
Pudge
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 19%)Terrorblade
* Pudge has low armor and low mobility, making him a prime target for Terrorblade's right-clicks.
* Meat Hook is a lot harder to land on the real Terrorblade if he has illusions around him.
* Because Dismember targets only one hero, Terrorblade's illusions can potentially save the real Terrorblade if he's caught in it.
Spectre
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 3%)Terrorblade
* If Terrorblade's health gets low enough, Terrorblade's Sunder can be used to completely deplete Spectre's health pool without any consequences from
Dispersion.
* Terrorblade is one of the few late game heroes that can stand toe to toe and man fight Spectre. Not all is lost if the game goes late when Terrorblade is on your team against Spectre.
Viper
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 6%)Terrorblade
* Viper's damage over time and lack of disables makes him easy to Sunder.
* Viper's physical damage is mitigated by Terrorblade's high armor.
* Terrorblade under Metamorphosis can quickly kill Viper with heavy physical damage.
Additional:
* Almost all of Viper's damage revolves exclusively around single-target damage-over-time effects. Furthermore, without any hard disables, Terrorblade can almost always get a Sunder off.
* Viper has low mobility and Corrosive Skin doesn't protect against physical damage, which means that Terrorblade under Metamorphosis can quickly kill Viper.
Venomancer
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 5%)Terrorblade
* Reflection illusion will apply Poison Sting to you if hit.
* Conjure Image and
Metamorphosis will make quick work of your Plague Wards.
* While ticking down from your poison, Terrorblade can wait until the last possible moment to Sunder a target, either friend or foe.
Bloodseeker
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 4%)Morphling
* Morphling can escape from Rupture using Waveform.
* Morphling is a typical Manta Style carrier, which can be used to dispel the silence from
Blood Rite.
Additional:
* Waveform ignores Rupture's damage, letting Morphling escape unharmed.
* Attribute Shift (Strength Gain) makes it very hard for Bloodseeker to kill Morphling or gain his Thirst bonuses, since Morphling can use it to sustain damage while trading attacks when Ruptured.
* Morphling usually builds Linken's Sphere, which blocks Rupture.
* Morphling usually builds Ethereal Blade, which can be used to turn himself or an ally ethereal, and avoid Bloodseeker's attacks.
Wraith King
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 17%)Terrorblade
* Wraith King has no form of AoE to clear Terrorblade's illusions.
* Terrorblade is a common Manta Style and
Diffusal Blade carrier.
* Terrorblade has very high armor, which helps against Wraith King's physical-only damage.
* A reincarnated Wraith King is an ideal target for Sunder if Terrorblade's health is low.
Clinkz
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 53% pickrate: 4%)Morphling
* By using Morph, Morphling can use Death Pact and Searing Arrows to counter Clinkz himself.
* Waveform can allow Morphling to easily chase down Clinkz.
* Clinkz's low health pool also makes him vulnerable to Morphling's magical nukes, especially his Ethereal Blade and
Adaptive Strike combo.
Tiny
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 45% pickrate: 5%)Terrorblade
* Heroes with high base damage (Morphling,
Tiny,
Drow Ranger), heroes with mana burning abilities (
Anti-Mage), and
Diffusal Blade users (
Juggernaut or
Riki) will suffer from Reflection's illusions.
Medusa
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 45% pickrate: 2%)Terrorblade
* Heroes that build Diffusal Blade or can fit it well into their item build will also make Medusa much less tanky:
Riki,
Naga Siren,
Terrorblade,
Juggernaut,
Spectre,
Slark,
Drow Ranger.
Bristleback
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 8%)Terrorblade
* Terrorblade's
Sunder is not affected by the Bristleback damage reduction.
Drow Ranger
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 4%)Terrorblade
* Marksmanship allows Drow Ranger to pierce Terrorblade's high natural base armor. Since Terrorblade doesn't like to buy armor items like
Assault Cuirass, that makes him very vulnerable to Drow.
Terrorblade
* Heroes with high base damage (Morphling,
Tiny,
Drow Ranger), heroes with mana burning abilities (
Anti-Mage), and
Diffusal Blade users (
Juggernaut or
Riki) will suffer from Reflection's illusions.
Morphling
* Morphling can use Waveform to close the gap between him and Drow Ranger, but should be careful of Gust and
Frost Arrows.
* Morphling is a natural Manta Style carrier, which dispels the silence from Gust.
Riki
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 5%)Terrorblade
* Heroes with high base damage (Morphling,
Tiny,
Drow Ranger), heroes with mana burning abilities (
Anti-Mage), and
Diffusal Blade users (
Juggernaut or
Riki) will suffer from Reflection's illusions.
Slardar
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 5%)Terrorblade
* Terrorblade starts out with and gains a lot of armor from his agility growth. His illusions also make it difficult for Slardar to focus down the real Terrorblade.
Undying
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 4%)Terrorblade
* Terrorblade can destroy Tombstone with his
Conjure Image and
Metamorphosis.
Templar Assassin
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 5%)Terrorblade
* Terrorblade is one of the strongest carries in the late game, due to his resilience against physical damage, which can be a problem for almost every strong burst physical damage carries, such as Phantom Assassin and
Templar Assassin.
Spirit Breaker
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 8%)Morphling
* Heroes that usually builds Linken's Sphere as a core item:
Weaver,
Medusa,
Morphling,
Queen of Pain,
Storm Spirit
Chen
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 0%)Terrorblade
* Illusion and heroes with summons are difficult to kill with Chen's single-target offensive spells: Terrorblade,
Phantom Lancer,
Chaos Knight,
Broodmother,
Naga Siren,
Lycan,
Visage. However, Chen can convert enemy summons with Holy Persuasion, as long as they don't bunch up.
Huskar
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 3%)Terrorblade
* Sunder can prevent Terrorblade's or an ally's death by swapping health, making damage-over-time spells inefficient. Heroes that rely on damage-over-time abilities like Venomancer and
Huskar will have a hard time against Sunder.
Night Stalker
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 5%)Terrorblade
* Heroes with illusions and summons can manfight Night Stalker: Terrorblade,
Beastmaster,
Broodmother.
Beastmaster
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 53% pickrate: 6%)Morphling
* Heroes with Linken's Sphere as core item: Weaver,
Morphling,
Medusa.
Visage
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 54% pickrate: 1%)Terrorblade
* Heroes that can overwhelm Visage by sheer number like Chaos Knight,
Meepo,
Terrorblade and
Phantom Lancer.
Sven
[wiki] rating: -0.4 (winrate: 43% pickrate: 1%)Terrorblade
* Heroes who depends on illusions and summons: Naga Siren,
Terrorblade,
Arc Warden,
Broodmother.
Additional:
* Great Cleave with
God's Strength clears Terrorblade's illusions quickly.
* Storm Hammer's AoE stuns Terrorblade and his illusions.
Terrorblade
* Sunder will make Sven a very easy kill if he gets it of on him.
* Terrorblade likes to go late game with his high attack damage, range and agility items.
Windranger
[wiki] rating: -0.4 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 16%)Terrorblade
* As long as Windranger is able to identify the real hero among the illusions, heroes relying on them can be easily tagged with Focus Fire: Chaos Knight,
Terrorblade,
Phantom Lancer,
Naga Siren.
Morphling
* By using Morph, Morphling can use Windrun and Shackleshot to counter Windranger herself.
* Waveform can allow Morphling to easily chase down Windranger.
* Windranger's low health also makes her vulnerable Morphling's magical nukes, especially the Ethereal Blade and
Adaptive Strike combo.
Anti-Mage
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 13%)Morphling
* Counterspell's bonus magic resistance causes the
Ethereal Blade and Adaptive Strike combo to deal significantly less damage.
* Counterspell's active component can reflect the Ethereal Blast and Adaptive Strike combo back into Morphling, dealing significant damage or even killing him.
* Mana Break combined with
Manta Style can quickly burn away Morphling's mana, leaving him unable to use his spells.
Terrorblade
* Terrorblade with Manta Style and
Conjure Image illusions overwhelms Anti Mage.
* Reflection turns Mana Break against Anti-Mage draining his mana making it useful in fights.
* Terrorblade's low mana pool makes him a poor target for Mana Void.
Additional:
* Reflection's illusion carries Mana Break as well, making it useful in fights.
Luna
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 7%)Terrorblade
* Heroes that can stall pushes: Invoker,
Keeper of the Light,
Lina,
Luna.
Terrorblade
* Heroes that create illusions (such as Spectre,
Shadow Demon,
Phantom Lancer,
Naga Siren,
Chaos Knight,
Terrorblade) or bring other units into the fight (such as
Nature's Prophet,
Lone Druid,
Chen,
Enchantress and the aforementioned
Meepo and
Arc Warden) can cause Eclipse to strike the illusions/summons unintentionally. (However, in many cases Moon Glaives can resolve this issue and eliminate them before activating Eclipse).
Death Prophet
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 10%)Morphling
* Heroes with silencing abilities that are not blocked by Linken's Sphere, like Puck's
Waning Rift,
Death Prophet's
Silence or
Silencer's
Global Silence.
Additional:
* While Morphling can burst her down with Adaptive Strike (Agility), Death Prophet does have tools to disrupt him. A Morphling affected by
Silence makes it unable to use
Attribute Shift (Strength Gain) to increase its health pool or use
Waveform to escape.
Morphling
* Heroes that can kill Death Prophet with nukes can prevent her from using Exorcism to its full duration or using it at all: Lina,
Lion,
Puck,
Morphling.
Shadow Shaman
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 16%)Terrorblade
* All of Shadow Shaman's abilities totally ruin Terrorblade: Ether Shock destroys his illusions, Hex prevents him from using Sunder or
Manta Style in bad situations, Shackles not only that prevent him from using
Sunder, but he has no way to cancel it and Mass Serpent Ward can help Shadow Shaman push faster than Terrorblade even in
Metamorphosis.
Additional:
* Ether Shock can destroy Terrorblade's illusions.
* Hex prevents Terrorblade from using Sunder or
Manta Style in bad situations.
Hex can also destroy one of his illusions.
* Shackles prevents Terrorblade from using his skills and items, whether to fight, survive, or dispel it in any way. In addition, Terrorblade has no solutions to cancel it.
Morphling
* Waveform allows Morphling to escape from Mass Serpent Ward
* Morphling can interrupt Shadow Shaman while he is shackling an ally with Adaptive Strike (Strength).
* With Ethereal Blade Morphling can quickly burst him down before he even has a chance to react.
Ancient Apparition
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 10%)Morphling
* Ice Blast stops Attribute Shift (Strength Gain) from recovering additional health, and using it will even bring Morphling closer to the shatter threshold.
* In lane, Ice Vortex slows Morphling's already poor movement speed to a crawl; this, coupled with the amplification of magic damage, can set up an early kill on Morphling if Ancient Apparition has a suitable lane partner.
Terrorblade
* Sunder is not affected by Ice Blast and will still swap health with any target as usual.
Additional:
* Sunder allows Terrorblade (or an ally) to regain HP while affected by Ice Blast.
* Terrorblade often buys Manta Style which can dispel Cold Feet
Juggernaut
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 19%)Terrorblade
* Heroes, whose core item builds includes Monkey King Bar:
Faceless Void,
Windranger,
Weaver,
Juggernaut.
Terrorblade
* Illusion-based heroes are effective against Omnislash and Juggernaut's single-targeted damage: Naga Siren,
Chaos Knight,
Terrorblade,
Phantom Lancer.
Razor
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 54% pickrate: 6%)Terrorblade
* Plasma Field can destroy Terrorblade's illusions or damage them heavily.
* Static Link decreases the bonus damage of Metamorphosis.
* Storm Surge also gives Razor high mobility, thus nullifying effects of Reflection.
* Eye of the Storm along with
Aghanim's Scepter can quickly reduce Terrorblade's armor.
* Even if Razor has no disables, he will often carry a Black King Bar, making Sunder and every other ability that Terrorblade has useless.
Morphling
* Morphling can break Static Link with Waveform. Alternatively, Morphling can Morph into Razor and use the same ability against him.
* Morphling's high armor makes Eye Of The Storm mostly ineffective, enabling Morphling to fight Razor for longer.
* Razor has no disables, enabling Morphling to avoid his abilities as needed.

About
This website was made to help you in pick stage of online game Dota 2. It calculates rating for each possible counterpicks based on tips from web-based database made up entirely of user contributions Dota 2 wiki.
You will get the list of recommended hero counters with a list of tips written by Dota 2 wiki contributors explaining why it's good against the particular hero. In comparison to other similar websites, which show only rating based on average hero winrate from dotabuff or similar service.
How to interpret this data
Take it with a bit of grain of salt, especially if the recommendation has a low rating (<= 1), some heroes
may win a lane in an early game but would lose in late game (and vice versa). That's why sometimes
you could hero names appearing as a counter and as being countered, as on image:
You can also add your own tips, update old data and fix mistakes by editing page on Dota 2 Wiki (it works like Wikipedia - anyone can contribute, you don't even need to register) these edits will appear on this website automatically (data is updated several times per week).
Right now there is no app/overlay that will detect picks automatically (like overwolf dota plus or become the gamer), instead, you can open web version in a steam in-game browser or use mobile version on your smartphone.

Terrorblade
*
Arcane Orb deals pure damage against the real Terrorblade, bypassing his high base armor.
Arcane Orb and
Sanity's Eclipse will make very short work of Terrorblade and his illusions.
*
Morphling
*
Arcane Orb deals pure damage, effectively bypassing Morphling's high armor from Attribute Shift (Agility Gain).
Sanity's Eclipse is more effective against a low health and mana pool Morphling, enabling Outworld Destroyer to burst Morphling down before he can shift to Strength.
Attribute Shift (Agility Gain).
*
Additional:
* Arcane Orb deals high damage regardless of Morphling's high armor from
* Because of Morphling's very low intelligence gain and base intelligence, Sanity's Eclipse will almost always be effective against Morphling.
