* With God's Strength, Warlock Golem goes down in a matter of seconds. The two weaker golems granted by Aghanim's Scepter will fare worse due to Great Cleave hitting both.

Additional:
* God's Strength combined with
Great Cleave destroys Chaotic Offering golems within seconds.

Puck, and the aforementioned
Silencer.
Spirit Breaker
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 8%)Warlock
* Warlock is a very strong hero when positioned correctly, and his long cast range helps him with this. However, some Heroes might disrupt or sneakily pass through your allies and deal with you, preventing you from doing your job. Such heroes include Chaos Knight,
Spirit Breaker,
Riki, and some others.

Phoenix, will greatly limit his Physical damage output.

* Blade Fury protects Juggernaut from all of Tiny's magic burst damage, as well as dealing magic damage that bypasses the armor from Grow.
Tiny
* Melee carries will have a hard time against Tiny's Craggy Exterior: Phantom Assassin,
Chaos Knight,
Juggernaut.
Lion
[wiki] rating: 0.4 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 16%)Tiny
* Lion will continuously Mana Drain Tiny, depleting his small mana pool for his abilities.
* Hex will keep Tiny from using his high damage spells and attack damage.
Warlock
* While heroes with strong mobility able to get close/flee or long range disables do well against him, heroes with no escaping abilities/lacking long disables will perish against Warlock. Once the {U:Warlock Golem} lands with its stun, its hardly possible to escape when he casts Upheaval. Just watch your pet burn the enemies as they try running away or blow their strongest abilities to stop your {U:Warlock Golem}. Notable examples:
Huskar,
Drow Ranger,
Lion,
Elder Titan, etc.
Viper
[wiki] rating: 0.4 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 5%)Tiny

[wiki] rating: -2.0 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 1%)Warlock
* Fatal Bonds links the Meepos together.
Tiny
* Avalanche and Toss prevents Meepo's Poof escape or using town portal scroll.
* He doesn't need to aim the weakest clone while he is grabbing tree.
Shadow Fiend
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 18%)Warlock
* Lacking escaping mechanisms, being dependent on fair positioning and channeling for his ultimate, its easier to Warlock with your long range crowd control abilities to lock the Shadow Fiend down to your team.
Hoodwink
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 16%)Warlock
* Chaotic Offering's vast area-effect can destroy trees and stun Hoodwink.
* Upheaval makes retreating with Scurry difficult.
Naga Siren
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 2%)Tiny
* Avalanche, Toss, and Grab Tree combo makes a short work of Naga Siren's illusions.
Huskar
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 3%)Warlock
* {U:Warlock Golem}s do plenty of physical and pure damage to bring down Huskar when he is at low health. Warlock is always a hazard for Huskar to initiate by using Life Break because
Chaotic Offering can stun him instantly, even when
Black King Bar is activated, and allow Warlock's team to gather their wit and retaliate.
* After jumping in, Huskar will not have any means to escape Upheaval. Being an attack-dependent hero, this is bad for him.
Monkey King
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 17%)Warlock
* Chaotic Offering can destroy the tree Monkey King is standing on.
* Shadow Word and
Fatal Bonds constantly puts Tree Dance on cooldown.
Enigma
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 55% pickrate: 6%)Warlock
* Chaotic Offering's spell immunity piercing stun can stop Black Hole's channeling. Due to this ability's large area of effect, it can be cast at a safe distance from the Black Hole.
* Fatal Bonds can be used to make Enigma's Eidolons easier to kill, potentially feeding the enemy team.
* Warlock's Upheaval can interfere with Enigma's initiation and potential follow-ups thanks to its large AoE.
Additional:
* Chaotic Offering pierces spell immunity and is an area of effect ability, therefore it doesn't matter if Enigma buys
Black King Bar or
Linken's Sphere Warlock will always be able to cancel channeling of
Black Hole.
* Enemies often get clumped up around Black Hole giving Warlock a perfect opportunity to cast
Fatal Bonds and
Upheaval on multiple enemies.
Broodmother
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 56% pickrate: 2%)Tiny
* Tiny can quickly clear Spiderlings with his active abilities and cleave.
Keeper of the Light
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 6%)Tiny
* Squishy heroes, usually supports, like Io,

Crystal Maiden
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 14%)Warlock
* Channeling heroes will not go well against Warlock, especially those who build Black King Bar as Warlock's ultimate ability stun goes through spell immunity. E.g.:
Crystal Maiden,
Shadow Fiend,
Enigma, etc.
Earthshaker
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 15%)Warlock
* Warlock often stays back and counter-initiates by dropping his
Chaotic Offering on Earthshaker and his allies.
Void Spirit
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 12%)Tiny
* Side lanes with disables will greatly reduce the likeliness Void Spirit will be willing to rotate: Sven,
Tiny,
Wraith King,
Ogre Magi.
Elder Titan
[wiki] rating: -0.6 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 1%)Warlock
* While heroes with strong mobility able to get close/flee or long range disables do well against him, heroes with no escaping abilities/lacking long disables will perish against Warlock. Once the {U:Warlock Golem} lands with its stun, its hardly possible to escape when he casts Upheaval. Just watch your pet burn the enemies as they try running away or blow their strongest abilities to stop your {U:Warlock Golem}. Notable examples:
Huskar,
Drow Ranger,
Lion,
Elder Titan, etc.
Phantom Assassin
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 15%)Tiny
* Due to Tiny's non-existent agility gain, high physical damage heroes are more effective against him (Clinkz,
Phantom Assassin,
Templar Assassin,
Ursa,
Wraith King etc).
Tiny
* Melee carries will have a hard time against Tiny's Craggy Exterior: Phantom Assassin,
Chaos Knight,
Juggernaut.
Slark
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 13%)Warlock
* Upheaval does not interrupt Slark too much, as he can just Pounce out of the area.
* Fatal Bonds and
Shadow Word can be dispelled by Dark Pact.
Tiny
* A Toss plus
Avalanche combination deals heavy damage to Slark in the early game, making Tiny a very dangerous target to gank.
Drow Ranger
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 5%)Tiny
* Long ranged heroes like Sniper or
Drow Ranger can kite Tiny effectively if he doesn't get the jump on them first.
Chaos Knight
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 3%)Warlock
* Warlock is a very strong hero when positioned correctly, and his long cast range helps him with this. However, some Heroes might disrupt or sneakily pass through your allies and deal with you, preventing you from doing your job. Such heroes include Chaos Knight,
Spirit Breaker,
Riki, and some others.
Tiny
* Melee carries will have a hard time against Tiny's Craggy Exterior: Phantom Assassin,
Chaos Knight,
Juggernaut.
Templar Assassin
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 5%)Tiny
* Due to Tiny's non-existent agility gain, high physical damage heroes are more effective against him (Clinkz,
Phantom Assassin,
Templar Assassin,
Ursa,
Wraith King etc).
Warlock
* Fragile supports with low armor are always a good prey, also her Psionic Trap will wear down most attempts to flee with their built-in disables: Silencer,
Crystal Maiden,
Warlock,
Ancient Apparition,
Grimstroke,
Witch Doctor
Warlock
* Because Templar Assassin does not have escape potential in lane, any support hero with roaming potential and a Dust of Appearance can be great at shutting her down early game:
Earth Spirit,
Spirit Breaker,
Tusk,
Bounty Hunter,
Riki,
Warlock.
Additional:
* Warlock can cast Upheaval when Templar Assassin uses
Meld, preventing escape.
* Warlock can also send his {U:Warlock Golem} near where she used Meld, preventing escape by
Blink Dagger due to the {U:Warlock Golem}
Permanent Immolation.
Tiny
* Heroes that have disposable area-targeted spells can force her to undo her Meld: Leshrac,
Puck,
Tiny. An experienced Templar Assassin could try to Refraction before Meld so she can tank through those damage without getting her Blink disabled.
Visage
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 1%)Tiny
* Familiars will easily be able to kite heroes with a short range or with low attack speed. For example, Tiny and
Undying have a very hard time killing Familiars.
Tiny
* Tiny can deal with Visage's
Gravekeeper's Cloak quickly, as Avalanche deals damage in enough instances to completely remove all 4 layers of the passive. With Visage's lower than average Armor, a well positioned stun can allow Tiny to kill Visage easily.
Additional:
* Tiny's
Avalanche removes a significant number of layers from Gravekeeper's Cloak. When combined with
Toss burns through all of Gravekeeper's Cloak while doing triple times Toss damage to Visage in midair.
* Tiny's already high damage coupled with Tree Grab's attack modifier will make short work of Visage's Familiars.
To start select enemy heroes in the field above. It's intended to be used with multiple heroes. The more enemy heroes you provide the better results you will get.
About
This website was made to help you in pick stage of online game Dota 2. It calculates rating for each possible counterpicks based on tips from web-based database made up entirely of user contributions Dota 2 wiki.
You will get the list of recommended hero counters with a list of tips written by Dota 2 wiki contributors explaining why it's good against the particular hero. In comparison to other similar websites, which show only rating based on average hero winrate from dotabuff or similar service.
How to interpret this data
Take it with a bit of grain of salt, especially if the recommendation has a low rating (<= 1), some heroes
may win a lane in an early game but would lose in late game (and vice versa). That's why sometimes
you could hero names appearing as a counter and as being countered, as on image:
You can also add your own tips, update old data and fix mistakes by editing page on Dota 2 Wiki (it works like Wikipedia - anyone can contribute, you don't even need to register) these edits will appear on this website automatically (data is updated several times per week).
Right now there is no app/overlay that will detect picks automatically (like overwolf dota plus or become the gamer), instead, you can open web version in a steam in-game browser or use mobile version on your smartphone.

Tiny
*
Reaper's Scythe will turn Tiny's high health against him.
Heartstopper Aura does substantial damage to Tiny as a result of his high max health.
*
Warlock
* Heroes that have small health pools and little to no escape mechanisms are even easier prey for Necrophos. Ghost Shroud's slow will allow him to catch him with them, and get nuked down with his abilities, even preventing retaliation due to Reaper's Scythe's stun. Such heroes include
Crystal Maiden,
Witch Doctor,
Warlock or
Shadow Fiend.
