Riki
[wiki] rating: 2.0 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 13%)Broodmother
[wiki] rating: 1.6 (winrate: 56% pickrate: 2%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes with plenty of summons, such as Broodmother or
Nature's Prophet can have their minions soak up most of your Paralyzing Cask.
Enchantress
* Enchantress is well known for taking control of various summons with her Enchant. However, Broodmother's summons are not a good target for that, because she can swarm up a bunch of her summons with Spawn Spiderlings and Enchantress has no good waveclear (Spawn Spiderlings can also kill creeps controlled with Enchant).
Additional:
* Enchantress' lack of AoE abilities allows Broodmother to swarm her with Spiderlings.
* Spawn Spiderlings can kill enchanted creeps.
Arc Warden
[wiki] rating: 1.6 (winrate: 54% pickrate: 5%)Witch Doctor
* Arc Warden's
Magnetic Field dodges all damage from Death Ward. Should he choose to buy a
Necronomicon, they are quite effective to absorb some shots from your cask, and attack you during Death Ward.
Enchantress
* Magnetic Field makes Impetus miss; if Enchantress decides to enter the field, she is giving up bonus damage since Impetus deals greater damage at higher distance away from targets.
Windranger
[wiki] rating: 1.6 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 17%)Witch Doctor
* Death Ward's first target (before it bounces) can evade it, therefore Windranger and
Phantom Assassin are poor choices to use it on.
* However, once the first hit landed, the bounces can no longer miss. Don't forget to manually aim for a target with no evasion !
Enchantress
* Windrun's speed allows easy pursuit or escape, while the evasion greatly reduces the threat of Enchantress' Impetus, especially when retreating.
* Shackleshot is a powerful disable if Enchantress gets too close to one of her own minions.
Oracle
[wiki] rating: 1.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 9%)Enchantress
* Heroes with little health or magic resistance are easily picked off with Oracle's magic burst, such as Skywrath Mage,
Crystal Maiden, or
Enchantress.
Witch Doctor
* It is especially easy for Oracle to negate the damage from Maledict, and even heal through it with Fate's Edict and
Purifying Flames.
* If by some miracle an enemy is still about to die because of Maledict, he can still save him with False Promise.
Lina
[wiki] rating: 1.6 (winrate: 45% pickrate: 10%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes who have channeled abilities can be stunned by Light Strike Array, like Witch Doctor with
Death Ward and
Bane's
Fiend's Grip.
Additional:
* Light Strike Array cancels out Death Ward from a long distance.
Enchantress
* Enchantress has pitiful health, and cannot tank Lina's heavy magic damage.
* Untouchable is decently countered by Fiery Soul, exposing Enchantress' weakness to physical damage due to her low armor.
* Lina is decent at clearing creeps and can kill Enchantress' creeps quickly.
Additional:
* Enchantress has a very small health pool and cannot tank Lina's heavy magic burst.
* Untouchable is decently countered by Fiery Soul, exposing Enchantress' weakness to physical damage due to her low armor.
* Lina is decent at clearing creeps and can kill Enchantress' creeps quickly.
Luna
[wiki] rating: 1.4 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 4%)Enchantress
* Enchantress has pitiful HP so Lucent Beam and Eclipse can kill her very quickly.
* Moon Glaives allows Luna to clear Enchantress' creeps very efficiently.
Additional:
* Enchantress has pitiful HP, even more pitiful than Luna, so Lucent Beam and
Eclipse will often harass and/or kill her through her Untouchable.
* With Moon Glaives, Luna can clear Enchantress's creep wave efficiently.
Witch Doctor
* Lucent Beam interrupts Death Ward from a decent range.
* Eclipse kills Witch Doctor during Death Ward, even through
Glimmer Cape.
Enchantress
* Heroes that create illusions (such as Spectre,
Shadow Demon,
Phantom Lancer,
Naga Siren,
Chaos Knight,
Terrorblade) or bring other units into the fight (such as
Nature's Prophet,
Lone Druid,
Chen,
Enchantress and the aforementioned
Meepo and
Arc Warden) can cause Eclipse to strike the illusions/summons unintentionally. (However, in many cases Moon Glaives can resolve this issue and eliminate them before activating Eclipse).
Bane
[wiki] rating: 1.2 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 3%)Enchantress
* Heroes with nukes: Bane,
Lich,
Lion,
Skywrath Mage
Witch Doctor
* Heroes that wish to disrupt fights with spell combos or big ultimates are vulnerable to the long stun of Fiend's Grip: Disruptor,
Death Prophet,
Enigma,
Faceless Void,
Invoker,
Lich,
Magnus,
Mars,
Medusa,
Outworld Destroyer,
Phoenix,
Puck,
Queen of Pain,
Shadow Fiend,
Treant Protector,
Underlord,
Winter Wyvern,
Witch Doctor,
Zeus.
Razor
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 55% pickrate: 4%)Enchantress
* Static Link 's damage instants fully ignore Untouchable, combine with
Eye of the storm and high movement speed compare to Enchantress with no mobility, Razor can easily take away her squishy health pool.
Nyx Assassin
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 53% pickrate: 12%)Enchantress
* Vendetta breaks Untouchable and deals great damage against her.
* Enchantress' lack of mobility makes her a primary target for ganking with Vendetta.
* Spiked Carapace can reflect Impetus and stun Enchantress.
* Mana Burn can deal tremendous damage against her due to being an Intelligence hero.
Additional:
* Vendetta disables Untouchable.
* Spiked Carapace reflects the damage from Impetus.
* Enchantress is a rather squishy hero, making her fall easily to Nyx Assassin's high burst damage.
Juggernaut
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 18%)Enchantress
* Blade Fury dispels the slow from
Enchant, spell immunity and used to burst her down during the early laning stage.
* Omnislash and
Swiftslash's physical damage burst ignore
Untouchable.
* Silver Edge is an ideal item for Juggernaut to deal with
Untouchable, making her vulnerable to melee attacks.
Additional:
* Blade Fury dispels the slow from enchant, and can burst her down during the laning stage.
* Omnislash and
Swiftslash's physical damage burst ignore untouchable.
* Silver Edge is a common item for Juggernaut for dealing with Untouchable.
Wraith King
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 18%)Witch Doctor
* Wraithfire Blast cancels Death Ward in decent range.
* Death Ward is meaningless while Reincarnation is off cooldown.
* Vampiric Aura can out-heal the {tooltip:DoT|Damage over Time} from Maledict.
Troll Warlord
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 9%)Enchantress
* Battle Trance and
Fervor can help cancel out Untouchable.
Additional:
* Untouchable's attack speed slow is easily remedied by Fervor stacks and Battle Trance.
* Troll Warlord is a natural Silver Edge carrier, disabling Enchantress' Untouchable.
Mirana
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 16%)Witch Doctor
* Sacred Arrow can be used to interrupt Death Ward from a safe distance, forcing him to cancel it to dodge or get hit.
* Paralyzing Cask is a slow-moving stun, and Mirana can Leap away from her allies to keep it from bouncing.
* Witch Doctor has low health and can easily be killed with an Aghanim's Scepter combo or just when hit with an arrow.
Enchantress
* Mirana can instantly kill creeps with Sacred Arrow, making her decent at crippling the armies of Chen or
Enchantress.
Enchantress
* Heroes that have an escape that doesn't disjoint projectiles: Mirana,
Faceless Void,
Magnus
Pugna
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 4%)Enchantress
* Amazingly, Enchantress has even lower health than Pugna. Though she does pack quite a punch through Impetus, she can't use it if she is under Decrepify.
* Pugna's Magical DPS is way greater than the heal from Nature's Attendants, which will also harm her quite a bit if she's next to Nether Ward.
Tidehunter
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 9%)Witch Doctor
* Kraken Shell dispels the stun from Paralyzing Cask. However, it does not dispel the damage from Maledict.
* Once Witch Doctor first uses his Death Ward in team fights, Tidehunter can simply cancel it with Ravage, turning the tables against him, especially if Witch Doctor does not have a
Black King Bar.
* As a precaution, let Tidehunter use Ravage first before channeling Death Ward to turn a team fight in your favor.
Zeus
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 8%)Enchantress
* Enchantress has a very low health pool, allowing Zeus to burst her down quickly before she can heal off the damage.
* Zeus will not be affected by Untouchable, as he won't try to attack her with right clicks anyway.
* Zeus can stay out of her attack range while trying to kill her, especially if he has bought an Aether Lens.
* Most heroes would want to get on top of Zeus to kill him, but Enchantress does not have this option as doing so would severely limit her Impetus damage.
* The exception is the laning phase, where Enchantress can gank Zeus if she Enchants a good creep.
Dragon Knight
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 4%)Witch Doctor
* Death Ward does little damage against Dragon Knight's armor, and Dragon Knight's high health regeneration minimizes damage from
Maledict.
Vengeful Spirit
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 4%)Witch Doctor
* Vengeful Spirit has two abilities to interrupt Death Ward, even through Black King Bar.
Rubick
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 17%)Witch Doctor
* Every ability Witch Doctor has is useful when Rubick manages to steal any of them:
* Paralyzing Cask provides an additional disable apart from Telekinesis and also helps Rubick to farm.
* Voodoo Restoration provides utility by healing Rubick and his team, since he has no heal of his own.
* Maledict is a solid damage-over-time nuke, which can be devastating to the enemy team.
* And most importantly, Death Ward is one of the best teamfight spells in the game. It also requires channeling, which makes it easy for Rubick to steal. And when combined with
Aghanim's Scepter, this can prove deadly to the enemy team.
* However, a skilled Witch Doctor will always toggle Voodoo Restoration while channeling
Death Ward to prevent that.
Additional:
* Rubick can steal Death Ward easily as it is a channeled ability and then use it to turn teamfight to his advantage.
* However, a skilled Witch Doctor will toggle Voodoo Restoration immediately after placing his Death Ward to prevent that.
Silencer
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 6%)Witch Doctor
* Like any hero with a channeled spell, Last Word is a counter to it.
* Global Silence goes through spell immunity and prevents Witch Doctor from casting his spells.
Morphling
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 13%)Witch Doctor
* Morphling can Attribute Shift to strength after being hit by Maledict. Since Maledict deals its damage based on the difference between HP on cast and HP after two seconds, odds are Morphling will have more HP than when Maledict was cast, thus resulting in no damage.
* On the upside, players prone to panicked reactions may Morph to agility, making Maledict even more efficient than intended.
* Adaptive Strike (Strength) can interrupt Death Ward at a decent range.
Medusa
[wiki] rating: 1.0 (winrate: 45% pickrate: 3%)Enchantress
* Enchantress often has a small army of neutral creeps, allowing Medusa to hit her with a later bounce of her Mystic Snake.
* Untouchable is ignored by secondary attacks from Split Shot.
Bounty Hunter
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 54% pickrate: 10%)Witch Doctor
* Low mobility heroes: Heroes with no/little means of traveling fast have difficulty getting to/away from Bounty Hunter due to his slowing Jinada and hastening Track. Few examples of such heroes are: Crystal Maiden,
Sniper,
Ursa,
Witch Doctor, etc.
Visage
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 53% pickrate: 1%)Witch Doctor
* Stone Form can easily interrupt heroes with long channeling spells, like Crystal Maiden,
Bane,
Witch Doctor, or
Enigma.
Dark Seer
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 53% pickrate: 3%)Enchantress
* Heroes with haste can negate Enchant's slow: Weaver,
Dark Seer,
Lycan,
Centaur Warrunner.
Ancient Apparition
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 10%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes like Slark,
Witch Doctor and others also tend to suffer in Ice Blast's heal denial.
Puck
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 17%)Witch Doctor
* Low health spellcasters: Lina,
Witch Doctor,
Tinker,
Keeper of the Light, all rely heavily on their spells and are fragile heroes. They all also have avoidable spells, allowing Puck to get to them and quickly burst them down.
Sand King
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 10%)Enchantress
* Sand King is a strong ganker, allowing him to shut down squishy heroes in the early game: Phantom Assassin,
Clinkz,
Sniper,
Enchantress,...
Clockwerk
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 7%)Enchantress
* Heroes with nukes that can jump her: Clockwerk,
Snapfire,
Spirit Breaker
Weaver
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 9%)Enchantress
* Heroes with haste can negate Enchant's slow: Weaver,
Dark Seer,
Lycan,
Centaur Warrunner.
Phoenix
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 9%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes with slow movement speeds and small health pools (supports like Crystal Maiden or
Witch Doctor) are easy targets for Phoenix. Should they be inflicted by its DOT debuffs, they will be very quickly killed without even getting a chance to fight back.
Skywrath Mage
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 6%)Enchantress
* Heroes with nukes: Bane,
Lich,
Lion,
Skywrath Mage
Additional:
* Untouchable is useless versus constant Arcane Bolts, and it doesn't help that her strength gain is the lowest in the game.
* A jungle Enchantress can weaken lanes and make Skywrath Mage's job easier.
* The magic amplification from Ancient Seal makes her even squishier to Skywrath and his allies' magic nukes.
Necrophos
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 3%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes that have small health pools and little to no escape mechanisms are even easier prey for Necrophos. Ghost Shroud's slow will allow him to catch him with them, and get nuked down with his abilities, even preventing retaliation due to Reaper's Scythe's stun. Such heroes include Crystal Maiden,
Witch Doctor,
Warlock or
Shadow Fiend.
Lion
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 17%)Enchantress
* Heroes with nukes: Bane,
Lich,
Lion,
Skywrath Mage
Additional:
* Enchantress is very fragile without any form of magic resistance, allowing Lion to easily burst her down.
* Nature's Attendants is a slow heal, making it ineffective against Lion's burst.
* Enchantress lacks any escape mechanism apart from her raw movement speed, allowing Lion to disable her.
* Since Lion's damage comes mostly from his skills, Untouchable does nothing to mitigate it.
Crystal Maiden
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 14%)Enchantress
* Heroes like Enchantress and
Chen, or heroes that make use of
Helm of the Dominator are weak to Crystal Maiden, as Frostbite can do wonders against
Enchant,
Holy Persuasion, or dominated creeps. Careful though, as an army of carefully controlled creeps (
Enchantress and
Chen) can hold many stuns that will cancel Freezing Field.
Additional:
* Frostbite does 1000 magical damage to Enchantress's creeps and roots them for 10 seconds, which hinders her ability to gank.
Earthshaker
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 15%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes with channeled abilities can be interrupted by a long-range Fissure: Crystal Maiden,
Witch Doctor,
Bane,
Pugna,
Pudge.
Pangolier
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 10%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes who rely on channeling abilities can be interrupted in teamfights by Rolling Thunder: Crystal Maiden,
Pugna,
Witch Doctor
Tinker
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 7%)Enchantress
* Any hero with a low HP pool is easy for Tinker to nuke down: Crystal Maiden,
Enchantress,
Gyrocopter,
Lion,
Riki,
Techies,
Terrorblade,
Necrophos,
Invoker.
Lich
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 11%)Enchantress
* Heroes with nukes: Bane,
Lich,
Lion,
Skywrath Mage
Undying
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 5%)Witch Doctor
* Generally, any fragile heroes will have a hard time dealing with Undying's tankiness, and even more so if Decay is used on them. Some examples are Crystal Maiden and
Witch Doctor.
Centaur Warrunner
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 4%)Enchantress
* Heroes with haste can negate Enchant's slow: Weaver,
Dark Seer,
Lycan,
Centaur Warrunner.
Anti-Mage
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 13%)Enchantress
* Heroes that can jump on her: Slark,
Queen of Pain,
Anti-Mage
Queen of Pain
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 9%)Enchantress
* Heroes that can jump on her: Slark,
Queen of Pain,
Anti-Mage
Additional:
* Untouchable won't mitigate magic damage, and a squishy Enchantress is very vulnerable to Queen of Pain's magic burst.
Slark
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 13%)Enchantress
* Heroes that can jump on her: Slark,
Queen of Pain,
Anti-Mage
Grimstroke
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 12%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes with powerful channeling abilities are easily interrupted by Phantom's Embrace: Bane,
Pudge,
Witch Doctor,
Crystal Maiden,
Enigma.
Pudge
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 19%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes that have a channeled ability can be interrupted by Meat Hook: Shadow Shaman,
Witch Doctor,
Enigma,
Bane.
Additional:
* Meat Hook interrupts Death Ward from a decent range, even through
Black King Bar &
Glimmer Cape.
* Pudge can survive the damage from Maledict because of his Flesh Heap stacks.
* However the damage-over-time from Rot is counteracted by Voodoo Restoration.
Phantom Assassin
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 15%)Witch Doctor
* Death Ward's first target (before it bounces) can evade it, therefore Windranger and
Phantom Assassin are poor choices to use it on.
* However, once the first hit landed, the bounces can no longer miss. Don't forget to manually aim for a target with no evasion !
Snapfire
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 6%)Enchantress
* Heroes with nukes that can jump her: Clockwerk,
Snapfire,
Spirit Breaker
Nature's Prophet
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 7%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes with plenty of summons, such as Broodmother or
Nature's Prophet can have their minions soak up most of your Paralyzing Cask.
Kunkka
[wiki] rating: 0.6 (winrate: 44% pickrate: 4%)Witch Doctor
* Heroes with long channeling abilities like Witch Doctor are easy targets for Kunkka to interrupt in team fights.
Additional:
* Torrent can cancel Death Ward from a far distance.
Timbersaw
[wiki] rating: 0.4 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 7%)Enchantress
* The burst damage from Timbersaw's abilities is more than enough to deal with Enchantress and her creeps.
* Timbersaw doesn't rely on his physical attacks, which makes Untouchable useless against him.
* Timber Chain can close the gap between them and minimize damage from Impetus.
* Be aware, however, that Timber Chain could work against him if used to escape.
* However, Impetus can ignore Reactive Armor if Enchantress is not a primary target for Timbersaw or if he is disabled.
Enchantress
* Timbersaw has a difficult time against magical and pure damage: Lina,
Leshrac,
Enchantress,
Queen of Pain
Terrorblade
[wiki] rating: 0.4 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 4%)Witch Doctor
* Witch Doctor's Maledict burst damage can be prevented by Sunder, if timed correctly.
* Death Ward deals physical damage, and Terrorblade's high armor can help him survive against Death Ward.
* However, be careful that Paralyzing Cask is commonly tricky to dodge as Terrorblade, due to his reliance of illusions, and
Maledict can kill Terrorblade if he has no target to be Sundered with, especially in the early game.
Enchantress
* Heroes that can dominate his illusions or create their own illusions of him: Dark Seer,
Morphling,
Enchantress,
Shadow Demon.
Meepo
[wiki] rating: 0.4 (winrate: 46% pickrate: 1%)Enchantress
* Meepo can quickly kill Enchantress with a
Poof combo, rendering Untouchable useless.
Enchantress
* Enchantress's
Untouchable slows down Meepos attacks and
Impetus can deal heavy pure damage to a single meepo, however once Meepo has closed the gap she is an easy target for Poof.
Faceless Void
[wiki] rating: 0.4 (winrate: 41% pickrate: 3%)Witch Doctor
* Beware of placing the Death Ward if Chronosphere is off cooldown, as it will cancel the effect and leave Witch Doctor vulnerable if he does not react in time.
Enchantress
* Heroes that have an escape that doesn't disjoint projectiles: Mirana,
Faceless Void,
Magnus
Lycan
[wiki] rating: -1.4 (winrate: 55% pickrate: 4%)Enchantress
* Heroes with haste can negate Enchant's slow: Weaver,
Dark Seer,
Lycan,
Centaur Warrunner.
Enchantress
* He relies heavily on right clicks making Untouchable very effective against him.
* If he tries to run away Impetus will do huge amounts of damage.
Additional:
* She can Enchant one of the wolves to her side.
* Untouchable still slows Lycan's attack speed.
Witch Doctor
* Paralyzing cask bounces between him and his wolves, keeping him stunned for long amounts of time.
Sven
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 44% pickrate: 1%)Enchantress
* Against her Untouchable, Sven is barely able to hit Enchantress even with his Black King Bar.
Lone Druid
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 1%)Witch Doctor
* Paralyzing Cask is likely to bounce between him and his bear every single time.
* Lone Druid's lack of mobility makes him vulnerable to Death Ward and Maledict.
Ember Spirit
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 47% pickrate: 9%)Enchantress
* Impetus will deal huge amounts of damage when he uses a Fire Remnant to escape.
* Flame Guard is useless against Impetus.
* Enchant dispels Flame guard.
Lifestealer
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 49% pickrate: 5%)Enchantress
* Since Untouchable pierce Spell immunity, Lifestealer cannot burst her down even with
Rage ; meaning she can heal herself back to full HP.
Huskar
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 3%)Enchantress
* Untouchable makes it near impossible to stack Burning Spears.
* Impetus' pure damage puts an instant end to Huskar's low-health brinkmanship.
Chaos Knight
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 3%)Witch Doctor
* Maledict cannot be dispelled by Phantasm, and can be used to tag the real Chaos Knight hiding within his illusions.
* If Witch Doctor has an Aghanim's Scepter,
Death Ward will bounce between Chaos Knight's illusions, destroying them quickly.
* However, Death Ward is easily interrupted by Chaos Bolt until Witch Doctor buys
Glimmer Cape or
Black King Bar.
Elder Titan
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 1%)Enchantress
* Untouchable makes her heavily reduce Elder Titan's physical damage output on her without Spell Immunity.
* Enchant can purge
Astral Spirit's buff without Spell immunity.
* Nature's Attendants can protect her if she survives the full combo and manages to juke around.
Ursa
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 16%)Enchantress
* Enchant dispels Overpower.
* Enchant's slow can help kite Ursa in fights and also in lane.
* Enchantress can out harass Ursa in lane by using her long attack range and Untouchable, as well as out sustaining him with Nature's Attendants.
Monkey King
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 17%)Witch Doctor
* Paralyzing Cask's short stun rarely prevents Monkey King from ambushing Witch Doctor.
* Death Ward's long channel is easily interrupted by Boundless Strike.
Enchantress
* Impetus pure damage ignores the extra armor granted from Wukong's Command.
* Enchant can dispel Monkey King's Jingu Mastery bonuses.
* Untouchable makes it hard for Monkey King to land Jingu Mastery stacks.
* Sproink allows Enchantress to escape from Wukong's Command.
Witch Doctor
* Another hero that should not leave a special circle for his ultimate. The only thing to be afraid is Boundless Strike.
Bloodseeker
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 52% pickrate: 5%)Witch Doctor
* Voodoo Restoration heals to counter Bloodseeker's Thirst.
* Rupture is generally useless against Witch Doctor while he is staying on Death Ward.
* Although Witch Doctor needs to be careful as Blood Rite can interrupt Death Ward.
Alchemist
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 53% pickrate: 8%)Enchantress
* Untouchable greatly reduces Chemical Rage's attack speed advantage.
Clinkz
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 53% pickrate: 5%)Enchantress
* Untouchable prevents Clinkz from harassing Enchantress in lane by lowering his attack speed.
* Nature's Attendants helps Enchantress to sustain from Clinkz' harassment in Lane.
Beastmaster
[wiki] rating: -1.0 (winrate: 55% pickrate: 7%)Enchantress
* Untouchable negates Inner Beast's attack speed bonus, making her hard to kill even if stunned by Primal Roar.
* Enchantress can also take control of Beastmaster's summons.
Additional:
* Enchant can control Beastmaster's boars, mitigating his effectiveness during the laning stage and teamfights.
Magnus

* Heroes with break can disable Untouchable for a while: Doom and
Shadow Demon (via
Aghanim's Scepter),
Viper
Witch Doctor
* Death Ward with
Aghanim's Scepter makes quick work of the spawned illusions from Disruption.
* However, it can be cancelled by Disruption until Witch Doctor buys Linken's Sphere or
Black King Bar.
* All of Witch Doctor's abilities are active, making Demonic Purge break from Aghanim's Scepter useless.
* Voodoo Restoration can out-heal the damage from Shadow Demon's abilities.
* An attempt to save an ally using Disruption can easily become a perfect setup for a Maledict or
Paralyzing Cask for the enemy.
Viper
[wiki] rating: -0.4 (winrate: 48% pickrate: 5%)Enchantress
* Heroes with break can disable Untouchable for a while: Doom and
Shadow Demon (via
Aghanim's Scepter),

Spirit Breaker
[wiki] rating: -0.4 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 8%)Enchantress
* Heroes with nukes that can jump her: Clockwerk,
Snapfire,
Spirit Breaker
Enchantress
* Spirit Breaker won’t do much harm because of Untouchable and Nature's Attendants. Unless Enchantress is low on HP, Spirit Breaker won’t catch her with mere spells.
Chen

* Chen can use Holy Persuasion on creeps controlled by Enchant.
* Ironically, Enchantress can Enchant Chen's creeps.

* Untouchable and
Nature's Attendants make her difficult to kill.

Drow Ranger
Venomancer
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 50% pickrate: 5%)Enchantress

* Both Venomous Gale and
Poison Nova lowers the amount of healing received by Enchantress and her allies from Nature's Attendants.

Templar Assassin
[wiki] rating: 0.0 (winrate: 51% pickrate: 5%)Witch Doctor

Witch Doctor
* Multiple attackers thanks to summoned units or clones: Meepo,
Witch Doctor,
Lycan,
Enigma,
Shadow Shaman
* Heroes that can quickly deal damage to her, regardless of how weak they are, can easily break through her Refraction:
* Multiple attackers thanks to summoned units or clones: Meepo,
Witch Doctor,
Lycan,
Enigma,
Shadow Shaman
* Multiple attackers thanks to illusions: Phantom Lancer,
Chaos Knight,
Naga Siren (bonus for her
Ensnare). Also despite the visual effects, Templar Assassin does not spill damage against illusions or buildings, so she is not a really good hero to clean up illusions.
* Weak damage but high tick rate or persist in a long time: Slark,
Gyrocopter,
Queen of Pain,
Shadow Shaman (
Shackles),
Pugna

About
This website was made to help you in pick stage of online game Dota 2. It calculates rating for each possible counterpicks based on tips from web-based database made up entirely of user contributions Dota 2 wiki.
You will get the list of recommended hero counters with a list of tips written by Dota 2 wiki contributors explaining why it's good against the particular hero. In comparison to other similar websites, which show only rating based on average hero winrate from dotabuff or similar service.
How to interpret this data
Take it with a bit of grain of salt, especially if the recommendation has a low rating (<= 1), some heroes
may win a lane in an early game but would lose in late game (and vice versa). That's why sometimes
you could hero names appearing as a counter and as being countered, as on image:
You can also add your own tips, update old data and fix mistakes by editing page on Dota 2 Wiki (it works like Wikipedia - anyone can contribute, you don't even need to register) these edits will appear on this website automatically (data is updated several times per week).
Right now there is no app/overlay that will detect picks automatically (like overwolf dota plus or become the gamer), instead, you can open web version in a steam in-game browser or use mobile version on your smartphone.

Witch Doctor
* Without Dust of Appearance or Sentry Wards, Riki is able to silence Witch Doctor with
Smoke Screen, and is likely to build a Diffusal Blade, leaving Witch Doctor without mana to cast Voodoo Restoration, as well as Skull Basher to interrupt Death Ward.
Enchantress
* Riki usually buys
Diffusal Blade to initiate, which renders Enchantress' movement speed useless, and is usually followed with
Smoke Screen.
Tricks of the Trade alongside with
Diffusal Blade and
